Swirls & Twirls

This has always been one of my favorite sayings.  If I had a dime for every time I told my daughter that we are constantly Swirling & Twirling, ever changing, I would have a tidy little sum of change.  Our lives are like leaves on a Fall day, different colors, shapes, textures, Swirling & Twirling Here & There.  We are individuals, single ladies, sisters, daughters, moms, grandmothers, divorced, widowed ladies, and each one of us is different and unique.  Each one of us is at a different stage in life, with different dynamics.  As we go through our days, our lives, our seasons, we Swirl & Twirl.

Think of it this way, when we reach the age when we leave home from our parents house, we start falling from that tree, one unique leaf starting to Swirl & Twirl, just put it in slow motion for the sake of this analogy, as you don’t want to fall to fast(LOL).  You go to college quite possibly, or start out as a young single lady, then you swirl a little more-your married, then the wind picks you up and you just twirl for a little bit as you become a mom, then you gently swirl into becoming a grandmother and ever so gracefully you drift to the ground as a little old lady.  So as you can see we do a lot of Swirling & Twirling in this life.

Most days we stay in a sea of so many things to do, as we try to fulfill several different roles.  It does not seem to matter what stage of life we are in; we just keep Swirling & Twirling, trying ever so hard to keep up.  This part of my blog centers around the many transitions we make in life as women.  Whether you are a new wife or a grandmother there is something here for everyone to relate to.
